Urban Centre Connectivity Assessment Tool
Using heuristic ranking of multiple journey characteristics to determine a relative ranking of connectivity between urban centres. This tool has been developed exclusively for the Centre for Asset Studies, with the first use in comparing connectivity between urban centres in the north of England with transport in and around London.
Major Project Cost Estimator
Combining publicly available data around major projects over the last 100 years, to perform data-relationship and regression analysis to determine trends for cost in the context of safety, performance and delivery, to provide estimations for new project costs. This tool has been developed exclusively for the Centre for Asset Studies, with the first use in comparing the various HS2 cost projections with our internal estimates based on previous major projects.
